Entry Explained

The Soldier Challenge is as much about fundraising as it is adventure. ABF The Soldiers’ Charity depend on the great work done by fundraisers so they can continue to provide help and support soldiers, former soldiers and their families in times of real need. To reward your fundraising efforts we’re offering you a £15 refund for every £150 you raise up to your team’s fundraising target. How will this work I hear you ask. Well...

Standard Entry fee is £50pp. When you enter the event, you enter as a team and will be charged the full entry fee for your chosen size of team ( teams of 2,3 or 4). During the entry process you will be asked to provide a link to your team ‘Just Giving’ fundraising page. Don’t worry if you don’t have one when you enter, you can log back into your account to enter team member details and a JustGiving page at a later date. We’ll then be able to track how your teams fundraising efforts are progressing and, once you reach each £150 target up to the fundraising target (£150 x your team size), we’ll refund your team £15 every time, well done!

For example:
If you enter a team of 3 you will pay a total Standard entry fee is £150 (3 x £50pp)
You raise money as a team and your team JustGiving total rises

  • When the total reaches £150, we’ll refund the team £15
  • When the total reaches £300, we’ll refund the team another £15
  • When the total reaches the team fundraising target of £450 (3 x £150), we’ll refund you the final £15

Team sizes & Fundraising Targets:

  • Team of 2 (fundraising target £300)
  • Team of 3 (fundraising target £450)
  • Team of 4 (fundraising target £600)

Don’t forget we’ll refund you £15 for every £150 your raise as a team up to the fundraising target!

To be 100% clear, the entry fee is payable is to take part in the event and goes exclusively towards the cost of operation of the event. Any funds raised by you over and above this entry fee are remitted directly to ABF the Soldiers’ Charity and are used exclusively by the charity in its work with Soldiers, ex-Soldiers and their families. Fundraising is not mandatory but strongly encouraged.
